Error Code 05 (Sunload Sensor)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Unplug wiring harness connectors at sunload sensor and control panel. Check wiring for continuity, shorts and opens. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair as necessary.
  2. Sensor is a photodiode and can be checked with an ohmmeter. With harness disconnected, there should be some resistance present across sensor terminals, depending on amount of light available. If resistance is 0 (zero), replace sensor.
