Error Code 03 (In-Car Temperature Sensor)
- Symptoms associated with Code 03 are cold air discharged when heat is selected and warm air discharged when A/C is selected. Unplug in-car temperature sensor. Measure resistance across sensor terminals. See IN-CAR & AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE table.
- If sensor resistance is NOT as specified, replace sensor. If sensor resistance is okay, disconnect negative battery cable. Check wiring between sensor and control panel for shorts or open circuits. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as necessary.
