EGR Vent Solenoid (2.2L Turbo)
Disconnect vacuum and electrical connections from sensor. Apply low air pressure to vent solenoid vacuum hose at vacuum port "B" and ensure air pressure flows through solenoid. See Fig 1 . Using jumper wire, connect negative terminal to ground and apply 12 volts to positive terminal. Apply low air pressure to vent solenoid vacuum hose at vacuum port "B" and ensure air pressure does not flow through solenoid. Replace solenoid if it does not operate as specified.
