Knock Sensor (2.2L Turbo)

Disconnect knock control sensor connector. Knock sensor is located on right side of engine, next to oil filter. Using DVOM with scale set on AC voltage, measure AC voltage between KS terminal (Yellow/Blue wire) and GND terminal (Black/Green wire). Observe voltmeter while tapping lightly on engine lifting eye with a 4-oz. hammer. Voltage reading should be greater than .03 volt. Replace sensor if voltage is not as specified.
