Short To Ground Check

Unplug PRC control module connector and Variable Assist Power Steering (VAPS) control module connector (if equipped) below driver's seat. Set VOM on 200K-ohm scale. Measure resistance between Green/Red wire and ground. If resistance is less than 10K ohms, service Green/Red wire between PRC control module and instrument panel for shorts to ground. If resistance is NOT less than 10K ohms, proceed to PINPOINT TEST A4 (on analog instrument panel only.)
