Function Control Lever

Function control lever operates control cable connected to cam on left side of evaporator assembly. Cam operates floor-defrost door and panel door, depending upon position of function control lever:

• DEFROST - Air is directed out defroster nozzles to windshield and side window demisters.
• MIX - Air is directed to defroster nozzles, side window demisters and floor outlets.
• FLOOR - Directs airflow to floor outlets with a small bleed at defroster nozzles.
• PANEL - Air flow is from instrument panel registers with a slight bleed at floor outlets.
