Test Km: Step 30

30) Cycle A/C Demand Switch  Turn key off and wait 10 seconds. Disconnect ECA 60-pin connector. Inspect for corroded or damaged connector pins and repair as necessary. Install breakout box, leaving ECA disconnected. Set DVOM on 20-volt scale. With KOEO, connect DVOM positive test lead to test pin No. 43 (No. 24 on 2.3L OHC PFI) and negative test lead to test pin No. 40. If voltage goes high and low as switch is cycled, replace ECA and remove breakout box. Retest system. If voltage does not cycle, go to next step.
