Test 6, Check Plugs & Wires

Check spark plug wires for insulation damage, looseness, shorting or other damage. Remove and check spark plugs for damage, wear, carbon deposits and proper plug gap. If spark plug wires and spark plugs are good, reinstall and go to TEST 7. If components are faulty, service or replace as required. Check for fault codes. See the appropriate TESTS W/CODES article.
