Removal And Installation

NOTE:

The procedure explains the detachment/reattachment of the automatic Transmission Control Module (TCM) on vehicle with right-hand drive. For versions with left-hand drive, proceed in the same way.

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.

  2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (1) from the TCM.
  3. Remove two nuts (2a).
  4. Remove the TCM (2b).

INSTALLATION 

  1. Using nuts, position and secure the TCM.
  2. Connect the wiring harness connector to the TCM.
  3. Connect the negative battery terminal.
