Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Fill in the torque converter with new transmission fluid.
    NOTE:

    Insert the torque converter taking care not to damage the seal ring on the gear inlet shaft.

  2. Install the torque converter in the transmission.

  3. Using a straight edge (1a) and a depth micrometer measure the distance between the straight edge (1a) and a flat surface of the torque converter (1b) and make sure it is not lower than 21.4mm.
  4. Fill the transmission with fluid Refer to FLUID AND FILTER, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  5. Install the transmission Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
