Disassembly And Assembly: Disassembly

For the disassembly and assembly of the strut assembly, use Mopar Service Equipment 223-7600 (strut spring compressor) or the equivalent, to compress the coil spring. Follow the manufacturer's instructions closely

1. Remove the strut assembly. Refer to STRUT, SUSPENSION, ASSEMBLY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
2. Position the strut assembly in the strut compressor tool and compress the spring.

3. Holding the strut rod (1a) remove the strut rod nut (1b).
4. Slowly release the spring tension and disassemble the strut assembly as required.
