Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Position the seat belt tensioner into the vehicle.
  2. Install the seat belt tensioner bolt. Tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Connect the seat belt tensioner wire harness connector.
  4. Position the seat belt retractor in its housing and install the two seat belt retractor bolts. Tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Connect the seat belt retractor wire harness connector.
  6. Install the seat belt turning loop bolt. Tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  7. Install all removed trim panels.
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  9. Connect the scan tool and check that there are no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) in the system.
