Diagnostic Test

CHECK THAT ELECTRONIC KEY BELONGS TO THE VEHICLE TO BE TESTED
1. Ensure the electronic key belongs to the vehicle to be tested.
  Does the electronic key belong to another vehicle?
  
  Yes
  - Use the corresponding electronic key, then move on to Step 3.
  No
  - Go to Step 2.
CHECK FOR PERSISTENCE OF DTCS IN THE ELECTRONIC KEY
1. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
2. Program the electronic key ID code.
3. Check whether the DTC is still present.
  Is the DTC still present?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the electronic key, then go to Step 3.
  No
  - Go to Step 3.
CHECK THE CORRECT OPERATION OF THE PASSIVE ENTRY NODE
1. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
2. Check whether the DTC is still present.
  Is the DTC still present?
  
  Yes
  - Repeat the checks from Step 1 .
  - Replace the Passive Entry Node if the error occurs again.
  No
  - End of diagnosis.
