Description & Operation: Notes

The speed (cruise) control system is electronically controlled and vacuum operated. The electronic control is integrated into the Engine Control Module (ECM) located below instrument panel, in front of center console under the air cleaner housing. System consists of the following components: Speed Control Electronic Control Module (ECM), servo, speed control switches, vehicle speed sensor, speed control relay and brakelight switch. The Talon Turbo uses an electric motor driven vacuum pump to operate the servo. System controls are located on left side of instrument panel (main speed control switch - OFF/ON) and on right stalk under air bag module and consist of ACC/RES, CANCEL and COAST/SET positions.
