Normal service interval for power transfer unit fluid is not available from manufacturer. Under severe service conditions, change power transfer fluid every 15,000 miles. Severe service conditions are conditions such as continuous operation during freezing temperatures, continuous operation in stop and go traffic, long periods of engine idling, trailer towing, police, taxi, local delivery service or operating in dusty or excessively hot conditions.
