DTC Test No. 27 - Transaxle Range Sensor

NOTE: Possible causes for DTC are: defective park/neutral switch, loose connector, open or shorted park/neutral switch wiring circuit or defective ECM.

When park/neutral switch failure exists, Transmission Control Module (TCM) delivers a malfunction signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM). Check TCM and transaxle control system. See the appropriate TRANSAXLE article for transaxle diagnosis.
