Removal & Installation

  1. ECM and ABS power relay are located near each other, behind right rear quarter panel trim. See Fig 1 . Power relay is mounted to ECM bracket. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove rear seat. Remove scuff plate. Remove quarter panel mounting screws and trim clip.
  2. Carefully remove quarter panel trim. If removing ECM, ensure ignition switch is in OFF position. Disconnect ECM wiring harness connector. Remove ECM mounting bolts/nuts and ECM. If removing power relay, disconnect relay connector, and remove relay. To install, reverse removal procedure.
