NOTE:
This bulletin applies to manual A/C equipped vehicles.
SYMPTOM/CONDITION
Manual A/C inoperative. Body Control Module (BCM) A/C function locked up.
DIAGNOSIS
A/C is inoperative, A/C system fully charged, evaporator temp sensor OK, A/C pressure transducer OK. These symptoms may indicate that the Body Control Module is locked up.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
This repair involves resetting the BCM.
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the underhood bullet connector near the battery or remove the "Interior Lights" 10 Amp fuse from junction block cavity 13.
- Wait five (5) minutes.
- Reconnect the bullet connector and reinsert the fuse.
