Removal And Installation

REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the glove box. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.NOTE:
The Fleet Telematics Module (FTM) is mounted to the Instrument Panel (IP) on a bracket behind the glove box.
- Remove the FTM bracket nuts (2) securing the FTM (3).
- Lower the FTM (3) to disconnect the wire harness connectors (1).
- Remove the FTM (3).
INSTALLATION
- Position the FTM (3) to the IP.
- Connect the FTM wire harness connectors (1).
- Install the FTM (3) to the carrier bracket and install the nuts (2) securing the FTM (3) to the IP. Tighten the nuts securely.
- Install the glove box. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
