Engine Block: FLEXPLATE: Installation

CAUTION:
Do not use an impact socket or a thick walled socket when removing or installing the flexplate retaining bolts, damage to the crankshaft, internal engine or the transmission may occur.
- Position the flexplate onto the crankshaft and install the retaining bolts hand tight.
- Using the sequence shown in illustration, tighten the flexplate retaining bolts to 95 N.m (70 ft. lbs.).
- Install the transmission. Refer to INSTALLATION .
