Assembly, Variable Valve Timing: Removal

CAUTION:

Never attempt to disassemble the camshaft phaser, severe engine damage could result.

  1. Remove the engine timing cover. Refer to COVER(S), ENGINE TIMING, REMOVAL, 5.7L .
  2. Remove bolt (1) and the camshaft phaser (2).
