Diagnostic Test

TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION 

  1. With the scan tool, record and erase the DTCs.
  2. Turn the ignition off.
  3. Close both doors.
  4. Try to operate the Door Locks with the RKE Fob several times.
  5. Turn the ignition on.
  6. Try to start the engine
  7. Wait 30 seconds.
  8. With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.

    Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

    Yes 

    No 

    • Test complete. The condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. If this DTC ever returns, replace the Body Control Module in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, BODY CONTROL, REMOVAL .
    • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
