Diagnostic Test

TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION 

NOTE:

If a new RKE Fob has to be programmed, ALL keys used in this vehicle MUST be present.

  1. With the scan tool, record and erase the DTCs.
  2. Be sure the ignition on.
  3. Wait 30 seconds.
  4. With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.

    Does the scan tool display; B1001-55-TRANSPONDER - NOT CONFIGURED?

    Yes 

    • Using the scan tool, program ALL RKE Fobs that are used in this vehicle in accordance with the Service Information.
    • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

    No 

    • Test complete. The condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. The RKE Fob that set this code is not present in the ignition at this time.
    • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
