Tr6060 Manual Transmission (Service Information): Installation: Installation

1. While guiding the transmission around obstacles, lift the transmission into the underbody tunnel until it aligns with the opening in the bellhousing.
2. Slide transmission into the clutch until it is seated against the bellhousing.

3. Install the transmission bolts (2 and 3) and tighten them to 40 N.m (30 ft-lbs).
4. Connect the transmission harness connectors.
5. Using a crowfoot wrench, Install the shift handle on the shift tower.

6. Place the rear crossmember in position under the rear transmission mount.
7. Loosely install the bolts (2) to hold the crossmember to the rear transmission mount.
8. Install the bolts (1) to hold the crossmember to the frame. Tighten the bolts to 33 N.m (24 ft-lbs)
9. Tighten the crossmember adjustment nuts (3) to 33 N.m (24 ft-lbs)
10. Tighten the crossmember the transmission mount bolts (2) to 40 N.m (29 ft-lbs)

11. Connect the hydraulic clutch quick connector (3) to the clutch release bearing (1).
12. Install the propeller shaft. Refer to INSTALLATION .

13. Fill the transmission to specifications. Refer to CAPACITIES AND RECOMMENDED FLUIDS, SPECIFICATIONS .
14. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION .
15. Connect the battery power source.
