This vehicle uses the Bosch© system 8 braking system. ABS is standard on all vehicles. ESP is optional.

This antilock brake system uses components of the base brake system, but also features the following components:

• Integrated Control Unit (ICU) - Includes Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) (4) and Antilock Brake Module (ABM)
• Wheel Speed Sensors (WSS) - Four sensors (one at each wheel)
• Dynamic Sensor module (includes Yawrate sensor and lateral acceleration sensor) if equipped with ESP 
• Steering angle Sensor (part of the airbag clock spring if equipped with ESP
