Power Liftgate Control Module

Any diagnosis of the Power Liftgate System should begin with the use of a diagnostic scan tool. For information on the use of the scan tool, refer to  POWER LIFTGATE MODULE (PLGM) - ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSTICS  . 

Inspect the related wiring harness connectors for broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded terminals. Refer to  SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS  for Aspen, or  SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS  for Durango . 

Before any testing of the power liftgate system is attempted, the battery should be fully-charged.
