Diagnostic Test
- REPLACE THE TIPM IF THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IS ACTIVE
- Using the scan tool, read the active TIPM DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?
Yes
- Replace and program the Totally Integrated Power Module in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Totally Integrated Power (TIPM) - Standard Procedure .
No
- If the DTC is stored, check for an intermittent condition. Visually inspect the related wiring harness connectors. Look for broken, bent, pushed out or corroded terminals.
- Using the scan tool, read the active TIPM DTCs.
