Charging System

The charging system consists of:

1. Generator
2. Decoupler Pulley (If equipped)
3. Electronic Voltage Regulator (EVR) circuitry within the Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
4. Ignition switch (refer to the Ignition System section for information)
5. Battery (refer to the Battery section for information)
6. Inlet Air Temperature
7. Voltmeter (refer to the Instrument Cluster section for information if equipped)
8. Wiring harness and connections (refer to the Wiring section for information)
9. Accessory drive belt (refer to the Cooling section for more information)
10. Clutch Pulley (If equipped)
11. Electronic Voltage Regulator (EVR) circuitry internally regulated for the diesel application.
