HCU (Hydraulic Control Unit): Installation

  1. Install the hydraulic control unit into the rubber mounts. See Figure.
  2. Reconnect the brake lines to the hydraulic control unit. See Figure. Do not mix up the brake lines.  Tighten the lines to 16 N.m (142 in. lbs.)
  3. Reconnect the multiplug to the control module. See Figure.
  4. Reconnect the ground cable on the battery.
  5. Bleed the brake system.
  6. Check the fluid in the reservoir and correct if necessary.
  7. Perform function test.
