Standard Procedure-Reading/Courtesy Lamp Replacement

  1. Open hood, disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the overhead console from the head-liner (Refer to REMOVAL  ).
  3. Remove the reading/courtesy lamp socket from the overhead console. Depress the socket retaining clips and pull straight from the reflective chrome lens (Fig 1 ).

  4. Remove the lamp from the socket assembly by pulling straight out.
  5. Reverse the above procedure to install.
