DTC P1602: Pcm Not Programmed: Testing

Turn the ignition on, with the engine off. With the DRBIII(R), erase DTCs. Using the DRBIII(R), program the PCM. See POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE  under PROGRAMMING. Start the engine. Allow the engine to reach normal operating temperature. With the DRBIII(R), read DTCs. Does the DTC reset? If yes, replace the PCM. If no, test is complete.
