Driver Door Does Not Trip VTSS
Possible Causes:
- Driver Door Ajar circuit malfunction.
- CTM.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition off before disconnecting or connecting any control module connector. Failure to do so could result in damage to control module.
NOTE:
Ensure vehicle being tested has a fully charged battery. If it does not, false symptoms may occur.

Testing:
- Turn ignition off. Connect DRBIII(R) to DLC. Using the DRBIII(R), read DRVR DOOR AJAR SW state. Open driver door. Does DRBIII(R) display DRVR DOOR AJAR SW: CLOSED? If yes, replace CTM. Perform VEHICLE THEFT SECURITY SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST under VERIFICATION TESTS. If no, go to DRIVER DOOR AJAR CIRCUIT OPEN under DOOR AJAR SYSTEM.
