Power Door Lock System & Liftgate Release: Programming: Transmitter

NOTE: Following programming procedure is for programming additional transmitters. Up to 4 transmitters can be programmed. When all transmitters need to be programmed, Chrysler Diagnostic Readout Box (DRB) scan tool must be used.

Ensure all transmitters are present. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Press and hold unlock button on currently programmed transmitter for 4-10 seconds. While pressing unlock button, press and release panic button. Release unlock button and a single chime should sound. This will indicate module is in programming mode. Within 30 seconds of chime sounding, press and release lock or unlock button on all transmitters intended for use with vehicle except transmitter used to begin programming mode. A single chime should sound indicating successful programming.
