Power Door Lock Test 6A - Driver's Door Fails To Lock From Any Switch

NOTE: Perform POWER DOOR LOCK TEST 1A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - BODY VERIFICATION TEST  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

Remove driver's door unlock relay from junction block. See Figure in EXTERIOR LIGHT TEST 3A. Junction block is located behind le ft end cap of instrument panel. See Figure in CHIME TEST 2A. Using external ohmmeter, measure resistance between ground and terminal "E" on relay socket. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace junction block. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, replace driver's door unlock relay.
