Exterior Light Test 2B - Headlights Will Not Turn On

NOTE: Perform EXTERIOR LIGHT TEST 2A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Ensure jumper wire is still connected between low beam relay socket terminals "A" and "D". Remove Power Distribution Center (PDC) fuse No. 6 or 7. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, measure voltage on B+ terminal of fuse socket. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair or replace PDC. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
  2. Reinstall fuse and disconnect either right or left headlight connector. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, measure voltage on low beam terminal (Violet wire left, Violet/Red wire right). If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace headlight. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair open Violet or Violet/Red wire.
