Intermittent Failures

Intermittent failures may cause MIL to flicker or stay on until the intermittent fault goes away. However, the corresponding DTC will be retained in PCM memory. If related trouble does not reoccur within a certain time frame, related DTC will be erased from PCM memory. Intermittent failures can be caused by faulty sensor, bad connector or wiring related problem. See TEST NTC-1A or INTERMITTENTS in CHRYSLER CORP. TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES - 3.3L CNG article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section.
