Test 22A - Diagnosing Intermittent Wiper Problem

NOTE: If wipers do not operate in low or high mode, see appropriate WIPER/WASHER SYSTEMS article in ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section.

Diagnostics for windshield wiper system are separated into 4 groups. Verify failure(s) or customer complaint and ensure vehicle is experiencing failure(s) or customer complaint at this time. See DIAGNOSING INTERMITTENT WIPER PROBLEM table and perform appropriate test.
