Test 7E - Short To Battery

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  in this article. For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  in this article.
  1. Using DRB in ohmmeter mode, check instrument cluster connector ground circuit (Black/Light Green wire).
  2. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open circuit in Black/Light Green wire. Perform TEST VER-1. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace instrument cluster. Perform TEST VER-1.
