Removal & Installation: Distributor: Removal

  1. Disconnect distributor pickup lead wire at wiring harness connectors. Disconnect distributor cap retaining clips. Lift off distributor cap.
  2. Scribe a mark on the edge of distributor housing to indicate position of rotor as reference when reinstalling distributor. Remove distributor hold down clamp screw and clamp. Carefully lift distributor from engine.
