Sensor Test Mode
- The Sensor Test Mode allows the output of 7 sensors and the state of 3 switches to be displayed on the tester while the engine is not running. This provides a means by which the entire circuit for each individual sensor and switch can be checked, including the wiring and SMEC circuitry.
- Put system in Diagnostic Test Mode. Wait for code 55 to appear on DRB-II. Press "Read/Hold" key on DRB-II until "READ" is displayed. Press "F3" key to determine which Sensor Test is desired. To enter, press "Enter" key.
- Press "Read/Hold" key until "HOLD" is displayed. Since Sensor Test codes are the same as ATM Test codes, the ATM test circuit will turn on before "HOLD" appears on display.
- The SMEC will now use the DRB-II to display the output of the selected sensor. To select another Sensor Test, press "Read/Hold" key until "READ" is displayed. Press "F3" key to select another Sensor Test.
