Test No. 2 - Checking Battery Temperature Sensor Calibration

  1. Connect DRB-II to diagnostic connector. Put system in Engine Running Test Mode "61". Refer to ENTERING ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS in this article. If DRB-II display is between .2-3 volts, go to next step. If DRB-II display is not between .2-3 volts, logic board is defective, replace SMEC.
  2. Put system in Engine Running Test Mode "67". If DRB-II display is between 13-15 volts, check condition of battery. Check for battery drain condition. If display on DRB-II is not between 13-15 volts, check alternator for low output.
