CCS4 - Checking Cruise Control On/Off Function

  1. Connect diagnostic readout box to engine harness connector. Put system in Sensor Test Mode 09. Move cruise control on/off switch to "ON" position. Connect jumper wire between cavities No. 2 and 15 of logic module Black connector (Blue on turbo). If readout box display is "blank", ensure terminal in connector cavity No. 15 is not damaged, causing a poor connection. If terminal is okay, replace logic module.

  2. If "00" is displayed on readout box, connect jumper wire between Dark Blue/White and Yellow/Red wires of cruise control switch harness connector. DO NOT  disconnect cruise control switch connector. If "00" is displayed on readout box, replace cruise control switch.

  3. If readout box display is "blank", connect one end of jumper wire to cruise control switch harness connector Dark Blue/White wire and cavity No. 15 of logic module Black connector (Blue on turbo). DO NOT  disconnect cruise control switch connector. If readout box display is "00", repair Yellow/Red wire to cavity No. 15 for an open circuit to cruise control switch. If readout box display is "blank", repair Dark Blue/White wire for an open circuit to fuse box.
