Using Sensor Socket (C-4589), remove oxygen sensor from exhaust manifold. Clean threads in exhaust manifold, using 18 mm x 1.5 x 6E tap. New oxygen sensors come with anti-seize on threads and can be installed as delivered. If old sensor is to be reused, coat threads with anti-seize (Loctite 771-64). Tighten oxygen sensor to 20 ft. lbs. (27.2 N.m).
