Fuel Injector: Removal

  1. Remove air cleaner assembly and perform fuel system pressure release. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove pressure regulator.
  2. Remove screw holding down injector cap. Using 2 small screwdrivers, lift cap off injector using slots provided. Place a small screwdriver in hole in front of electrical connector.
  3. Gently pry injector from pod. Ensure that injector lower "O" ring has been removed from pod.
