CCS4 - Speed Control Servo Harness CKT

  1. Connect diagnostic readout tool to engine harness connector. Place system in Sensor Test Mode 09 and turn speed control switch to "ON" position. Connect jumper wire between Dark Blue/White wire and Yellow/Red wire of speed control switch harness connector. Do not disconnect speed control switch connector. If 00 is displayed, replace speed control switch. If display is blank, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Connect negative lead of voltmeter to ground. Connect positive lead to Dark Blue/White wire of speed control switch harness connector. Turn ignition on. If voltmeter is within one volt of battery voltage, go to next step. If voltmeter reads zero, repair Dark Blue/White wire for an open circuit to fuse box.

  3. Turn ignition off and unplug 60-way connector. Connect negative lead of voltmeter to ground and positive lead to cavity No. 8 of 60-way connector. Turn ignition on. If voltmeter is within one volt of battery voltage, logic board is defective. Replace engine control module. If voltmeter reads zero, repair Yellow/Red wire of cavity No. 8 for an open circuit to speed control switch.
NOTE: Do not disconnect speed control switch.
