Electronic Module - Fwd Models

NOTE: All previous tests should be done prior to this test.
  1. Raise vehicle off ground. Start vehicle and run at a speed of 40-50 MPH. Move speed control switch to "ON" position. Terminal pin No. 7 of the module connector should show 12 volts.
  2. Press speed control switch "SET" button and release. Terminal pin No. 7 should show from 5 to 9 volts and will probably fluctuate one or 2 volts at a fairly rapid rate. Cruise control system should be holding set speed. If speed is not holding, replace electronic module.
