Electronic Fuel Control
The Electronic Fuel Control (EFC) system is an electronically controlled system that closely manages air/fuel ratio and ignition timing. Spark Control Computer (SCC) is the heart of the system.
This computer provides the capability of igniting a lean air/fuel mixture according to different modes of engine operation; plus, during closed loop operation, the computer maintains air/fuel mixture close to the ideal ratio of 14.7:1. For additional information, see appropriate article in Computerized Engine Control section.
