Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove right side kick panel. Remove engine control module (ECM) bracket trim locks. See Fig 1 . Pull ECM down from ECM mounting base. Disconnect ECM connectors from ECM.
  2. To install, connect ECM connectors to ECM. See Fig 1 . Align ECM into mounting base. Snap ECM into its mounting base. Install ECM trim locks. Install passenger side kick panel. Connect negative battery cable. Perform a crankshaft position system variation learning procedure.
