Power Inverter Module (PIM): Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Move the drivers front seat to the full forward position.
  2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

    1 - Module Cover
    2 - Fastener
    3 - PIM
  3. Remove the fasteners and module cover to gain access to the Power Inverter Module (PIM).

    1 - PIM
    2 - Fastener
    3 - Wire Harness Connector
  4. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the PIM.
  5. Remove the fastener from the PIM.
  6. Remove the PIM from the vehicle.
