Removal And Installation: Front: Installation

  1. Position the HVAC module to the air inlet housing.
  2. Install and tighten the screws (1) that secure the HVAC module to the air inlet housing.
  3. Connect the wire harness connector (2) to the HVAC module.
  4. Install the passenger side knee blocker air bag. Refer to AIR BAG, KNEE BLOCKER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  5. Install the glove box trim panel and glove box and hush panel (1). Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  7. Initiate the Actuator Calibration function using a scan tool. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
